\n Focus <\/strong>of the symposium will be future areas of cooperation in the fields of engineering, processes, energy, materials, machinery, manufacturing and oil production between the universities and Iraqi and German companies and institutions.
\n The symposium is hosted by Salahaddin University-Erbil, Iraq, and funded by DAAD and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
\n Since 2009 the Faculty of Mechanical, Process and Energy Engineering of TU Bergakademie Freiberg has been coordinating the German-Iraqi academic partnership project Mechanical Engineering Germany \u2013 Iraq (MEGI)<\/a><\/u>. MEGI has been funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) since 2009.
